MACECE Silver Jubilee Gala Dinner

 

 

WHEN:  Saturday, June 14, 2008 (7:30 - 11:30 pm)

 WHERE: Site of New Marina , Casablanca

 WHY:

        ·        Celebrate MACECE 25th Anniversary (1982-2007).

        ·        Enlarge capital base of Mohammed VI Moroccan-American Scholarship Endowment Fund, established in May 2000, with revenues used to supplement budget for study grants for young Moroccans.  

       ·        Honor corporate and individual donors to Mohammed VI Endowment Fund.

       ·        Honor all corporate sponsors of cost-shared Fulbright scholarships for Moroccan students.

       ·        Raise the profile of the FBAC and the Moroccan-American Commission.

       ·        Provide forum for business community to mix with MACECE alumni.

 WHAT:

     ·        In the unique ambience of a great tent erected astride the Casablanca harbor, guests will be treated to a fabulous meal and a program of distinguished speakers, grantee testimonials, and musical performances by talented by Moroccan alumni and a current American scholar, blending eastern and western songs.  

 How:

    ·        Corporate contributors to the Mohammed VI Endowment Fund (minimum 20,000 MDH -or- $2,500) will be offered complimentary tickets to the Silver Jubilee Gala Dinner according to the following scheme:

Ø      MACECE Benefactors: At least 20,000 MDH / $2,500  (2 complimentary tickets)

Ø      MACECE Patrons: At least 80,000 MDH / $10,000  (4 complimentary tickets)

Ø      MACECE Champions: At least 200,000 MDH / $25,000  (6 complimentary tickets)

 

    ·        Purchase of corporate tables: These will sell for 12,500 MDH each. The company will have the right to eight of the ten seats on their table, with the two remaining seats to be filled with guests at the discretion of MACECE. Such tables will be marked with the name of the purchasing company, which will also be highlighted in the program.

    ·        Purchase of regular individual tickets: These will sell for 1,250 MDH each.

 

    ·        Alumni contributors to the Mohammed VI Endowment Fund (minimum 200 MDH) will be offered up to two tickets at the special price of 625 MDH. All such donors will be listed on the program according to the following categories:

Ø      MACECE Friends: At least 200 MDH / $25

Ø      MACECE Supporters: At least 1,000 MDH / $125

Ø      MACECE Promoters: At least 2,000 MDH / $250

Ø      MACECE Sponsors: At least 4,000 MDH / $500
